Hello, hello. Bad news- we won't be able to meet this Wednesday due to another obligation I have at the board office. (I can tell you all are very upset and will miss me endlessly.) So, I am going to give you a to-do list to keep you busy until out next meeting.
So, here goes:
1- If you haven't made any discussion points on Chapter 6, please do so. Don't forget to reference page numbers in your posts so that everyone can keep track of where the conversation 'is'.
2- I have tried to find some way to upload videos to the Weebly without using YouTube; however, every method I have found includes buying some type of program. So, all we have left is YouTube. Visit/ Join the site; create an account. Make sure your user name does not reveal anything about you personally such as name and residency/ school. For those of you who have your videos on my iPad- create an account on YouTube and come see me next Monday or Tuesday to upload the video. Below, I added a tutorial that will help you.
3- After you have uploaded the practice video to YouTube, add it to that page on your Weebly. Some of you recorded the final video already; just put the final video on the page as well. If you haven't recorded the final video, then we can take care of that next Wednesday. (So, bring your fancy clothes.)
4- For next meeting, bring a proposal for your (you and your partner) next L/ D debate topic. The proposal should be a 1x5 explaining why you want to do this debate topic and include one research resource that you will be using.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to come down to my room. (Don't let the freshies scare you away.) See you January 16. Remind me to bring you some food.
